We are building an operational team inside of our firm that will provide specific services to our portfolio companies.  Our team is responsible for building a marketing driven growth plan for each new portfolio company and ultimately driving growth for our portfolio of B2B SaaS companies.

About the Role 

Turn/River Capital is searching for a leader to manage Account Based Marketing efforts across our portfolio of companies. We are looking for a data-driven leader who can use data and insights to identify priority accounts & prospective customer segments, and devise and manage execution of cross-functional plans to move those accounts through their customer journeys at our portfolio companies to ultimately drive revenue growth amongst those key account segments. 


Qualified applicants must have both rich experience in drawing insights from data as well as a track record of implementing programs to effectively drive revenue growth & profitability through omni-channel marketing strategies. Qualified applicants must have experience devising data-driven account based models to help us better understand ideal accounts to pursue, and experience driving business results amongst focused accounts at each stage of their journeys - spanning multiple products and feature-sets.

In this role, you will deeply understand and devise programs to drive results amongst discrete sets of accounts. You will influence and drive our portfolio companies' marketing teams to execute cross-functional marketing programs, spanning the broader Marketing organization, Sales, Support, and Product.


What you’ll do:

  • Define, own and execute the Account Based Marketing strategy and plan
  • Craft the strategic and tactical plans that will enable portfolio companies to execute one-to-one personalized engagement with decision makers, within top strategic accounts, with the aim of booking meetings
  • Collaborate with portfolio companies to develop account focused playbooks including outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow up, nurture, channel activities, events, meeting setting with the goal of building pipeline and accelerating bookings
  • Identify the most effective marketing messages, value proposition, materials, channels, and calls to action for personas and key accounts
  • Work with marketing to develop targeted campaigns, custom content requirements, digital marketing support, paid social activities to increase & measure account development and awareness
  • Report and monitor on all ABM activities including business metrics aligned to pipeline generation, meeting bookings, and campaign success/activity per strategic account
  • Manage strategic account list & timelines


Who you are:

  • 7+ years in hands-on, highly analytical roles
  • 5+ years of proven multi-channel B2B marketing experience within enterprise software/SaaS
  • Proven experience applying customer-state data models, drawing insights from data, and effectively communicating critical insights to senior leadership
  • Strategic thinker and experienced operator: Proven ability to both identify opportunities and drive action to pursue those opportunities
  • Experience building and delivering of field marketing campaigns, events, executive and key account programs and partner activity with measurable results
  • Experience with enterprise Marketing Automation platforms, CRM, and in-product personalization tools
  • Influential leader who builds trust with peers and superiors, can effectively “sell” new ideas in the face of opposition, and develops highly collaborative relationships
